Weekend

Friday night after work...went to the bar and had a beer with the girls. Couldn't pass up the nachos...lol. Then we were off to see the Sex and the City movie...I was so thrilled. I loved it! It tied up loose ends from the show which was nice. Although my friend Ang was disappointed...she wanted it to be the fairytale so to speak. I don't want to give it all away for those who haven't seen it. I must say if you are a fan of the show you must go see the movie. You don't even realize that it is over 2 hours long.

I work weekends, so it's hard to fit things in...I mostly work, come home saturday nights watch my show Robin Hood and The Graham Norton Show on BBC, maybe check and see if there is an oldy but goody on Turner Classic Movies and go to bed....Sunday isn't much...sleep in and get up and get ready to go work. That's what happens on my weekends.....my "real" weekends consist of Wednesday and Thursday...which consist of me cleaning my house and catching up on laundry. I'm not sure everyone wanted to hear about my boring life... but hey...oh well, my blog I will say what I want.....lol

LOST Finale

Oh my....the finale was awesome. Some answered questions, thank goodness! I finally found out who was the dead man....I couldn't believe it. Of all people, and how did he get off the island? Yes, some answered questions and some new questions of course. I love this show! I can't wait for the next season...and well, that won't start for almost a year I'm sure, which I am not happy about, but what can you do.

I'm in awe to see what they are going to come up with next. The writers for this show are simply amazing, and the actors are some talented and fabulous actors. Man, I wish the new season started sooner....lol I just can't wait to find out what's going to happen next.

One of my favorites

Just wanted to share one of my favorite recipes with you all. This recipe is from Rachael Ray, the bestest cook ever. This recipe is awesome if you like stuffed peppers without all the work. YUM-O! I'm a big fan of Rachael Ray's. Her recipes are easy and don't take all day to cook. I have her new cookbook and I love it!

The past couple weeks I have been volunteering to cook a meal for a sick lady and her daughter from work. Last week I made her the stuffed pepper stoup (thicker then a soup and thinner then a stew). She said it was great. This week I made her Spring-Summer Ziti. Although I couldn't taste the finished product, I can say that I tasted while cooking and it was delicious! I suggest checking out this recipe and many more on her website. Just click the title of the blog to take you to the recipe.

I challenge you who love to cook and eat healthy food to check out this recipe and try it...trust me it's awesome!

To All the Mother's out there

Just wanted to wish the Mother's out there a Happy Mom's Day. I know it's late but oh well.

My mother's day started out great, even though I had to work. My son picked me some wildflowers and put them in a jar for me and surprized me with those. That was awesome. I was hoping he would pick up the house while I was at work, to be a gift to me as well...but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, I love what he gave me. I just wish I would come home to a clean house just once....lol. I think that's just to much to ask with a teenage son.

Well, I hope everyones Mother's day rocked!
